about us

YWAM ASHEVILLE

is a community of individuals dedicated to hearing the voice of God and responding with innovative obedience.

We disciple young people in biblical worldview and gospel-centered identity in order to answer the call of the Great Commission.

We are committed to extending hospitality, operating with excellence, and standing firmly upon the infallible scripture.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, YWAM Asheville is committed to loving this city well. Not only are we dedicated to sending missionaries to other nations, we are intentional about serving the city we call home.

We have 3 pillars of focus; training young people, aiding the underserved traveler demographic, and assisting women who have been trafficked.

The Discipleship Training School is a 5 month course that allows students to dive deeper into their faith. They learn from those who have gone before them, receive intentional discipleship, live in community with their peers, and travel to another country to put their faith into action.

In particular, our location focuses on the Traveler Community: the nomads, the vagabonds. We reach out to the Travelers that come into our city, as well as in the Himalayas of India & Nepal. This video explains the life of a Traveler & the culture of this demographic.

In addition to this, The Reshma Project is a ministry of YWAM Asheville. The vision of the Reshma Project is to expose the darkness of sex trafficking, to empower the enslaved to escape bondage, & to enrich their life and self with dignity. This takes place in India, North Africa, The Middle East, and locally in Asheville.
